For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...
Mark 10:45
If you see someone wearing a shirt that says "Community is our Middle Name," it’s because we truly believe in serving others. From volunteering on a ministry team to stepping outside the walls of the church—whether it’s providing meals for the unhoused, serving at a local school, or joining an outreach project—there are plenty of ways to get involved.
We also pursue opportunities to live out God’s mission through short-term trips and special projects that make a real impact, near and far.

Serve in our church
Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.
Our core values are to Connect people to Jesus, Cultivate disciples, build strong Communities, and to ACTIVATE those gifts that God has given us. We want to help facilitate whatever gifts God has placed in you.
Volunteer FAQ
How do I volunteer?
The best place to start is to attend our C3 Connect Class to learn about the mission and vision of Cityview Community Church. In this class you will learn about volunteer opportunities, meet key ministry leaders, and find out where you can best use your giftings to serve.
How do I volunteer with kids?
All of our ministry volunteers are background checked and screened to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our youngest church goers. If you would like to find out more about working with the children's ministry, please contact Pastor Witney.
How do I volunteer with music?
If you are interested in being a part of the worship ministry or sound team, we have an extended worship practice each month. You can contact Pastor Amber about attending these practices, and what areas we are needing volunteers for these teams.
How do I volunteer with students?
Youth groups can be loud, exciting, and full of fun games and lessons. If you want to be a part of this team, contact Pastor Caden to see how you can get involved. Our volunteers must undergo special training for working with this age group as well as a background check.
Partner with Families in Need... In our Community
Since launching in 2015, CarePortal has done for child welfare what other tech platforms have successfully done to disrupt entire industries. Just as ride-sharing and home-sharing services have unlocked value and connection in places where it didn’t exist before, CarePortal enables care-sharing: a method of collaboration that empowers people to share the responsibility of caring for people in need. Right now, in real-time.
Real, systemic change is occurring in communities to reverse our nation’s foster care crisis as a result of the meaningful connections formed through CarePortal. Not through more programs. Not through more taxes. But through connection among a pre-existing network of caring people and local churches engaging in cross-sector collaboration, working together to facilitate local, proactive, and effective care for kids.
