Never Alone
(Due to technical difficulties, this message did not record in its entirety)
This week in Christmas at the Movies, we’re looking at Home Alone and the powerful truth it illustrates: even when life feels silent, chaotic, or lonely, God is closer than we think. The angels declared “Peace on earth” in Luke 2:14, and that peace isn’t just the absence of conflict—it’s the presence of Jesus Himself.
Kevin’s story captures the feelings many of us face: being overlooked, misunderstood, or afraid. Yet even when he believes he’s alone, help is already woven into the story. In the same way, God is working in our lives even in seasons where He feels silent. Just as the world waited through 400 quiet years before Jesus was born, God was preparing everything perfectly.
We’ll talk about how fear can distort our reality, how God meets us in the ordinary and unexpected places, and how He often arranges help long before we know we need it. And just like the moment when Old Man Marley shows up right on time, we’re reminded that God approaches gently, speaks truth, brings comfort, and rescues us in our moments of greatest need.
Christmas declares a louder truth over every feeling of isolation: Immanuel—God with us. He is our refuge and strength, always ready to help. You are never forgotten. You are never abandoned. You are never alone.
Join us live and experience the peace and hope Jesus brings this Christmas season. 🎄✨
